This August, the CERN Dramatic Arts club will, for their first-ever theatre production, be preforming an adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's "A Doll's House" on the 14–16 August at the UpTown Geneva Theatre. We invite you to escape the summer heat and journey with us to Christmas 1879.
A Doll's House tells the story of Nora Helmer, who lives a quiet happy life with her husband, Torvald, and their three children. However, Nora has a secret that she has kept hidden from her husband. Right before Christmas Eve, just as Torvald has been made manager of the Bank, events are suddenly set in motion that threaten to upset their cozy home life and unravel it all.
The play has been adapted for the Club's performance and will be performed in English by a multi-national cast of actors from the CERN Dramatic Arts Club.
